When it comes to different types of florals they each have their own needs.
Dried Flowers
When the preserved foliage goes through temperature changes it can sometimes cause the preservative to come to the surface... if this happens just wipe with a dry cloth.
Some items may be dyed or painted and this may transfer. Pampas does shed this is normal. Sometimes the palms have splits in them, this is not considered a fault. Due to the nature of this product no two bunches are the same.
Keep them away from direct sunlight as this fades the colour and makes them go brittle. Don't let them get wet either, as this can make them go a bit mouldy and we don't want that! To clean them you can very gently blow them with a hairdryer on the cold setting and lowest speed, just enough to blow the dust away.
Fresh Flowers
If your flowers arrive in foam you can either leave them as they will stay hydrated or remove them from the foam, Gove them a fresh cut and place them in a vase of clean water.
Keep flowers away from radiators as they prefer a cooler spot. The cooler the room the longer your flowers will last. Also keep out of direct sunlight and away from consumables and pets. Some flowers (eg lilies) stain. Remove any faded blooms or foliage as soon as possible. Give your stems a fresh cut and change the water in the vase at least once every few days, if possible.
Dried & Fresh
Florals can change slightly due to seasons and what I can get hold of at the time.
Flowers might be slightly different in colour due to lighting and desktop viewing. All photos are taken in front of a window in natural sunlight or under LED lighting. Some stems may be wired.
Artificial Flowers
Artificial flowers are very similar to care for as dried (read above). If you order a ready to go artificial bouquet the stems will be ben over at the bottom. Stems will only be cut for wedding bouquets. When stems are cut they are glued at the bottom to avoid snagging on garments.
